Abstract

Outlined is the expanding role of occupational therapists in the forensic system in Alberta, Canada. Examples of the services from institution to the community are given. The innovative use of fieldwork sites through faculty/forensic staff agreements has led to job opportunities and expanded occupational therapy service. The paper ends with recommendations for future expansion of occupational therapy service.
