Abstract

In this article, the author examines issues related to the procedural procedure for the appointment and production of forensic examinations, and also highlights in detail the current aspects of the activities of officials carrying out preliminary investigation in the appointment and production of forensic examinations, as an important factor for creating legal prerequisites for compensation for harm caused by a crime. The author provides specific examples from the materials of criminal cases, which reflect the questions posed to the expert for permission, contributing to the establishment of the nature and extent of the harm caused by the crime.
