Foreign Language Education in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

With the development of big data, cloud computing and supercomputers, artificial intelligence is widely used in various fields. The deep integration of artificial intelligence technology and education has changed the mode of modern teaching and learning, which also brought opportunities and challenges to foreign language education. Artificial intelligence has a profound impact on foreign language teachers, learners, teaching mode and methods, the ways of evaluation, etc. However, the application of artificial intelligence technology in foreign language education is far from satisfaction. The improvement of current situation needs the efforts from whom it may concern. The college should take some measures to motivate the application of artificial intelligence and provide financial and technical support; foreign language teachers must change their concepts first, improve their abilities of applying new information technology into teaching process, adapt to the goal of future foreign language education, and keep up with the pace of education reform in the Era of artificial intelligence so as to promote the development of foreign language education.
