Abstract
The article describes the foreign experience of public authority’s assistance in solving the housing provision issue. The experience of Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, China is given as examples. The requirements for citizens to use the existing support mechanisms for the acquisition of housing, including requirements for age, income, family size. Effectiveness of interest rates subsidizing on the loan for the purchase of the first housing by a citizen noted, as well as the feasibility of using pension savings to Finance the construction or acquisition of finished housing.
