Abstract

The article analyzes the foreign experience of increasing the competitiveness of commercial banks and the prospects for its application in Uzbekistan. The analysis showed that an integrated approach combining many measures is used to increase competitiveness abroad - legal protection of depositors and other participants in transactions, implying, first of all, ensuring the anonymity of customer cash flows, a favorable tax climate, promotion of banking products in all areas of business, reducing the share of overdue loans, a well-thought-out government policy aimed at attracting foreign investment, timely marketing research aimed at studying the interests of consumers, improving innovation of banking services, liberalization of the banking sector, etc. The results of the study can be used in the system of strategic decision-making for the development of countries with economies in transition.
