Abstract

An attempt is shown to explore the possibility of using the nonlinear spectral model in forecasting some parameters of solar activity affected the space weather. Using the data sets of the monthly averaged Wolf numbers the forecast is given for the 23 cycle of solar activity. The maximum is expected to be in 2000 with the amplitude of about 140. As an example the forecast is also shown of the mean solar magnetic field.
