Abstract

The possibility of estimating the durability of constructive steels depending on the nature of external irregular cyclic loading, schematized by block loading, is shown. The calculation is based on parameters of an initial durability curve obtained at regular cyclic loading and irregularity parameter estimated by completeness of loading spectrum. It was accepted that the durability curves are equidistant at regular and irregular cyclic loading. The presented methodology provides good results at estimating durability in the region 103–107 cycles.
