Abstract
As the precondition of exploiting solar energy resource, solar energy resource forecasting and simulation is the key of solar energy's development and utilization. The main parameters for solar energy resource forecasting and simulation were mentioned in this paper, these parameters combined with the solar energy resources satellite data of 45 typical areas in China provided by NREL were analyzed with the method of mathematical statistics. Analysis concluded that the method used for forecasting and simulation of solar energy resources is feasible and reasonable, which has an important guiding significance to the development and utilization of solar energy.
