Abstract

The Quarterly National Accounts for Q3 2021 revealed large revisions to the historical data that narrowed the gap to the pre‐pandemic level of GDP to 1.5%, down from the previous estimate of 2.1%. But the data also confirmed that after spectacular growth in Q2, when most of the economy reopened after lockdown, the recovery slowed in Q3.
