Abstract
METHODS Eleven skilled male soccer players participated in this study. They performed maximal instep kicks and two successful shots hit the target with minimal ball spin were selected from each subject. Two electrically synchronized ultra high-speed video cameras (MEMRECAM fx-6000, NAC Inc., Tokyo, Japan) located in the lateral side and backward were used. To adequately capture the foot and ball behavior during ball impact, the sampling rate of 5000 Hz was used.
