Abstract
The article entitled "Food Theory in Sirupanaatruppatai" is taken from the book Pathuppattu of the Pathinenmelkanakku, which was written in the Sangam period. The manner in which the Tamils gave food to those coming home is explained. People entertained the Panars who came on foot and the people who came along with them. They removed their tiredness and fed them. Mullai, Marutham, and It can be seen that a small troop of Panars passed through the inhabited areas in the Mullai, Marutham, and Neithal lands and were treated with love and kindness by all. Three land systems out of five types of land and the lifestyles of the people living in them can also be seen in this article.
