Abstract

Food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) is a non-IgE-mediated food hypersensitivity, for which testing such as food-specific IgE and skin prick testing (SPT) is not predictive; instead, oral food challenges (OFC), which are burdensome and resource-intensive, remain the gold standard for diagnosing FPIES. We aim to characterize outcomes from standardized OFC.
