Abstract

ABSTRACTFoam fractionation is discussed as a means of removing contaminants from seafood processing plant effluents and fish culture systems. Fractionator operating modes are discussed as are the parameters affecting operation and performance. Use of a foam fractionator for contaminant removal from blue crab processing plant effluent and from fish culture systems is reported and results are briefly discussed.
