Abstract
The surface anisotropy distribution in conventional amorphous wires (CAW) with positive (Fe-based), negative (Co-based), and nearly zero magnetostriction (Co-based with a small amount of Fe addition) is analyzed by ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) measurements. The anisotropy distribution changes with composition and applied torque. The experimental results are explained considering the coupling between magnetostriction and applied torque.
