Abstract
This paper describes the theoretical and experimental investigations into generation of wrinkling and slip in plastic-films under transportation. The onset of wrinkles and slip under the transportation was examined for five types of plastic-films, and observed results were compared with the theoretical prediction results. Good agreements were seen between them. Finally, based on such results, the stable transportation map for web-handling was proposed.
