Abstract

The authors identify and establish the quality-assurance information task in FMECA (failure mode effects and criticality analysis) standard procedure. The authors review a number of applications of FMECA data and highlight two main issues: the FMECA quality assurance task description; and criticality calculations and analysis. An example is presented of FMECA quality-assurance information task performance, illustrating the advantages and possibilities discovered during two years of successful application, using FMECA processor software. >
