Abstract

We apply the counterflow model to the thermoelectric effects in anisotropic two-band superconductors like HTSC's and organic superconductors. It is shown that the Seebeck and Nernst coefficients are non-monotonic and can change their signs below the superconducting transition if two bands unequally undergo the superconducting pairing. Recent experiments [1] on the organic compounds (BEDT-TTF)2X evidence in favour of the proposed consideration.
