Abstract

A study was carried out amongst two groups of school-children, one of which lived in an area of endemic fluorosis. All of the latter group had evidence of dental fluorosis, in 87 per cent of cases severe. Clinical details are given of two cases out of 119 who showed skeletal changes on radiological examination. A study of secondary ossification centres did not reveal any differences in growth in the two groups examined.
