Abstract

Partial substitution of hydrogen atoms by fluorine atoms in the aromatic ring of benzyl-containing tertiary amines or quaternary cations has been found to deeply influence the crystallinity and the nature of crystal phases obtained when these molecules are used as templates for the hydrothermal crystallization of AlPO, SAPOs, and zeolites.
