Abstract

Current methods for measuring fluid flow require a steady flow to achieve correct results. However, in practical applications, such a place is often not available and the measurement results obtained do not have the required reliability for further use. The project aims to design a methodology for measuring the flow in selected types of unsteady flow, focusing on the conditions in the ventilation ducts. The presented paper explains the state of the art in this field and identifies the most promising ways for further research. According to the results found in available sources, acceptable results with relative deviations of about 5 % can be obtained with an increased number of measurement points.
