Abstract

Various types of devices for dispersing fluids, usable, in particular, for nitrogen fertilizer production in granulation towers, are described. The mechanisms of jet disintegration into drops and disintegration under imposed external disturbances (vibrations) are elucidated. The need for varying frequencies of external vibrations in congruence with variation of the rate of fluid flow through the granulator is shown. A method is proposed for self-adjustment (adaptation) of vibration frequencies of the vibrating element.
