Abstract

The dynamics of nuclear phase transitions, from liquid-gas at low energy to the hadron-deconfined matter at high baryon density, is discussed. Microscopic simulations of Heavy Ion Collisions (HIC) with stochastic mean field approaches are presented. Focus is put on the isospin dynamics, in connection to the new possibilities provided by radioactive beam facilities. Particular attention is devoted to our knowledge of the elusive isovector part of the in-medium nuclear interaction. A selection of sensitive observables from reaction measurements is finally suggested.
