Abstract

The effects of three factors, including the power supply, the arc behaviourin the arc channel and the fluid dynamic process of the jet, on a plasmaspraying jet have been experimentally detected by means of spectroscopicdiagnostic techniques. The fast Fourier transform method has been applied tothe analysis of the arc voltage and spectral line intensity of the jet. The threefactors have been studied and distinguished from each other.
