Abstract

AbstractThe charge on a dust particle in a plasma can fluctuate for two reasons. The spatial, temporal, and turbulent changes in the properties of the plasma may induce [2, 3, 8] fluctuations in the charge on the dust particles. The more important reason is the discrete nature of charge on electrons, ions and dust particles, which has been explored in this chapter.KeywordsDust ParticleElectron EmissionThermionic EmissionNeutral AtomDust CloudThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
