Abstract

The relative recovery of low level atmospheric benzene vapor from standard activated charcoal sampling tubes was studied as a function of sampling rate, vapor concentration, and sample quantity. The study indicated significant losses at the lower flowrates, while losses due to variations in tube loading and vapor concentrations were found insignificant at the 0.01 confidence level.
