Abstract

Fluid oscillator flow meter with a thermal converter made from high-temperature ceramics for liquid nitrogen flow measurements is overlooked. The thermal converter is used as a sensitive element for current of the flow fluctuations in the fluid oscillator flowmeter. Phase transition from the normal to the superconductive state is operating conditions of the thermal converter. Thermal converter manufacturing methods is based on the magnetron sputtering of the ceramics. The results of the investigations on the flowmeter metrological characteristics estimation when operating at the full-scale conditions metering liquid nitrogen flow at 77,4 Kelvin degrees are given.
