Abstract

Abstract A substituted thalimide (AC94377), may be superior to gibberellic acid (GA) in treatments to promote the growth and flowering of some cultivars of cyclamens (Cyclamen persicum Mill.). The undesirable elongation of flower stems and distortion of flowers caused by gibberellic acid may be avoided by use of AC94377 but there were cultivar differences in response to AC94377.
