Abstract

Single-center retrospective review (dates not provided) with selective review of the literature. Four patients with complex common femoral artery pseudoaneurysms were treated with ultrasound-guided thrombin injection and with adjunctive flow-reducing balloons. All patients were safely treated without embolization, infection or recurrence. Flow reduction-aided thrombin injection may have particular utility in complex femoral pseudoaneurysms, especially in patients that may not tolerate open repair.
