Abstract

The authors experimentally investigate the behavior of quantum discord and entanglement in two-mode squeezed states generated by superconducting Josephson parametric amplifiers. They show how correlations flow between the two modes and the noisy environment, and relate their findings to the security of entanglement-based quantum key distribution.
