Abstract

In this Letter, the effects of magnetic field on the flow of a micropolar fluid past a continuously moving plate is analyzed using the theory of micropolar fluids formulated by Eringen. The governing equations for the problem are changed to dimensionless ordinary differential equations by similarity transformation. They are solved by a shooting method. The effects of the magnetic parameter on the microrotation are discussed through graph.
