Abstract
In recent years, process flow injection analysis has gained importance over the other process analytical techniques due to its compatibility with the process streams and adaptability of its instrumentation to process environments. The applications of the technique have already become an important part of process control and optimization in chemical industry. Dow Chemical is continuing to develop the technology of process analytical chemistry and process flow injection analysis. This paper discusses applications of process flow injection analysis incorporated in closed-loop process control of chemical processes.
