Abstract
The present experimental investigations were made in a 180° open channel bend to study the maximum development of spiral motion (conveyance-capacity) and bottom, as well as wall shear (erosive capacity), in the subcritical range of Froude numbers likely to be encountered in narrow and wide channels.
