Abstract

The observation of long-range two-particle correlations in high energy heavy ion collisions opens the opportunities of exploring novel QCD dynamics in quark gluon plasma (QGP), the hot dense matter created in heavy ion collisions. In particular, such correlations are sensitive to the degree of thermalization in the system. We present selected results from non-identified and identified twoparticle and multi-particle correlations in PbPb collisions, as well as in lighter systems.
