Abstract
Within the study of the River Jadar management, the biological and hydro-engineering characteristics of the watercourse and the riparian land were comparatively researched. The floristic diversity of the Jadar riparian area was studied and the existing plant species and communities, life forms and floral elements were identified. On the other hand, the study of the morphological and hydraulic characteristics of the water course included the basic factors of river channel and banks regulation - the variation of morphometric parameters, hydraulic resistance and the stability of the river banks. Based on the study results, the guidelines of river management were defined from the aspect of biodiversity conservation and ecosystem enhancement of the Jadar valley. .

Summary
Објекат истраживања у овом раду, у оквиру студије уређења реке Јадар, била је долина реке овог водотока. Дуж тока реке Јадар обрађено је 7 локалитета, на надморским висинама од 118-192 m. Локалитети Добрић I и II обухватају делом приобаље, а делом шумску веге тацију која се налази у непосредној близини, на надморским висинама од 120 и 125 m. Основни метод рада се састојао у теренским истраживањима биолошких и хидротехничких карактеристика посматраног сектора Јадра. У оквиру истраживања флористичког диверзитета приобаља Јадра, идентификоване су постојеће биљне врсте и заједнице, животне форме, а извршена је и биљногеографска анализа. С дру ге стране, у оквиру истраживања морфолошких и хидрауличких карактеристика во дотока, сагледани су основни фактори уређења речног корита и приобаља - варијаци је морфометријских параметара, хидраулички отпори и стабилност речних обала
