Floristic composition of meadow vegetation of floodplain meadows of the Bolshoy Kinel River

Abstract

The paper presents the results of geobotanical studies aimed at inventorying the vegetation cover of the floodplain meadows of the Bolshoy Kinel River. The vegetation of the coastal areas of small rivers of the Middle Volga region is poorly studied so it was important to trace the change in the floristic composition of the area under the influence of environmental and anthropogenic factors. A scientific base for the subsequent assessment of the level of synanthropization and degradation of meadow communities in vegetation cover of the studied territories was developed.
