Abstract
This work presents the taxonomic treatment of the Tabebuia Alliance from Bahia State, Brazil. We recognized six genera and 26 species: Cybistax ( C. antisyphilitica ), Godmania ( G. dardanoi ), Handroanthus (14 species), Sparattosperma (2), Tabebuia (6) and Zeyheria (2). Handroanthus cf. botelhensis , H. pedicellatus and T. reticulata are reported for the first time in the State. Identification keys to genera and species, descriptions, illustrations, geographical distribution maps of the species in the State, and general comments about the taxa are presented.
