Abstract
A lot of waste water and tailings were produced during mineral processing. Polyacrylamide, as an organic polymer flocculant, was widely used in the flocculation treatment of mineral processing wastewater and tailings. In this paper, the types of polyacrylamide commonly used in flocculation of wastewater generated from the beneficiation of metal ore, oil sand and phosphate ore were summarized.
