Abstract

Flexible micro-ECoG electrodes are widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases, and the stable contact between the electrodes and cortex will directly affect the quality of signal acquisition. The ultra-low Young’s modulus and fractal structure are further beneficial to the conformal contact. In this work, a separate micro-ECoG electrode array based on the bacterial cellulose substrate was proposed, with the promising characterization of ultrasoftness and long-lasting moisture, as well as the position accuracy of electrode sites.
