Abstract

Background: There are no reports in the literature on flexible intramedullary nails (FIN) for the treatment of pediatric femoral shaft fractures in children with neuromuscular disorders. The purpose of this study is to investigate the outcomes of FIN for femoral shaft fractures in children with neuromuscular disorders. We hypothesized that FIN would yield favorable outcomes despite technical challenges in this population.
