Abstract
Both the design of mechanisms for the realization of specific movements, as well as movement control by electrical signals, which are received or transmitted by sensors and actuators, play a pivotal role in assembly and handling technologies. This article discusses the equipping of pre-assembled keyboards with keycaps of different geometry using x-y handling systems on an automatic production line. The control system used is based on the hierarchical model of production control and supported by a local area network.
