Abstract
Abstract Flavonoid profiles do not appear to be of taxonomic value for supporting the documented hybrid nature of Phlebodium x dictyocallis from Ph. decumanum and Ph. aureum . Specimens examined accumulate 3- O -glycosides of the flavonols kaempferol and quercetin. O -Glycosidic moieties included: glucose, rhamnoglucose, arabinose, galactose and possibly the previously undocumented ribose.
