Abstract

Flavonoids were characterized from the leaves, stems and inflorescences of eight species of labiates of section Agastache. Within the North American species of the section, there is a trend of reduction in number of compounds from the western to the eastern United States species. Asian Agastache rugosa has a flavonoid profile identical to that found in the western North American species.
