Abstract
The measurement of laser potentialities on a crystal slab, which was described in a previous article, can often be greatly facilitated by a measurement under flash excitation by the laser pumping source. Measurements on a particular crystal which also was lased were done both by the new method and the previous cw excitation method, and the results are compared.
