Abstract
A man developed allergic contact dermatitis in a split-thickness skin autograft. The year-old donor site flared spontaneously. This unusual finding could be due to nonspecific factors associated with injured skin; however, it is proposed that regional or permanently altered skin protein, common to both sites, contributed to it on an immunological basis.
