Abstract

The article presents a calculation algorithm for the theoretical justification of the design of protective devices used for safe operation of explosion-proof equipment and supply communications. Mathematical modelingis applied. The development of protective devices that ensure the explosion and fire safety of gas flame equipment used in construction is considered. The designs of protective devices that provide explosive and fire-hazardous gases from deflagration to detonation combustion modes and devices designed on the principle of flame cut-off by means of mechanical actuation of locking elements: a membrane and a conical valve are considered.
