Abstract
Results of laminar flame propagation experimental studies on hybrid aerosuspensions «methane-coal-air» are presented. Combustion of fine coal dust clouds (r0 = 8 microns, volume 4 · 10-3m3) and iron oxide clouds (r0 = 5 microns, volume 4 · 10-3m3) is investigated in isobaric conditions. Volumetric methane concentration was 6%. Comparison of visible and normal flame propagation velocities of mixtures "methane - air", "methane - coal - air" and "methane - inert component - air" testifies that fine coal particles increase flame propagation rate.
