Abstract
From 1995–2008 photographer and filmmaker Lauri Lyons traveled throughout the United States and Europe interviewing and photographing people with the American flag. The culmination of her journeys is the books “Flag: An American Story” and “Flag International”. The intention of the Flag series is to create an open dialogue about cultural identity within a global framework.
