Abstract

This paper is dedicated to fixed-time (FXI) output synchronization for multi-layer complex networks (MLCNs) with output coupling. By designing two kinds of dynamic event-triggering control strategies based on nodes’ output information, the FXI output synchronization of MLCNs with or without specified synchronization target is discussed, and further the Zeno behavior is excluded. In particular, the output coefficient matrix is no longer restricted to be positive definite or diagonal, and the relation between the output matrix and the synchronization settling time is obtained. Two specific examples with numerical presentation are given eventually to demonstrate the reliability of the theoretical analysis.
