Abstract

This article is concerned with the fixed-time control problem of uncertain high-order heterogeneous multi-agent systems with time-varying delays for both directed and undirected topologies. Applying the free-weighting matrix approach, a sliding mode controller is designed through the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and the conditions are derived with the help of linear matrix inequalities to attain fixed-time consensus tracking control of such systems. Two numerical simulations are included to verify the capability of the derived control law with respect to different initializations.
