Abstract
Using the Lorentz-covariant formulation, we calculate the amplitude of the parity-conserving one-loop 5-point function. Hundreds of logarithmic terms that appear in the light-cone gauge and then cancel through intricate identities are absent from the start in the covariant approach. Other advantages of the covariant formalism are also discussed.
